evinrude oceanpro 150 wiring for trim

i have an older oceanpro 150 with the old red plug and 5 pin connector for the trim but i have the new omc controls i have connected the red plug but i have 5 wires on the motor and only three on my control for the trim can anyone help thanks

I think probably the two extra wires (maybe brown & white and brown & black)are for the trim gauge. Are the three wires from the control red, blue and green?<br /><br />c/6<br />Hooty

i will check tomorrow thanks for your help also i have wired the red plug and it starts and runs nice but when is the buzzer go should it go with the key turned or just when their is a problem?

The buzzer should beep for a short time when you turn the key on. Its just a self test for the buzzer
