hi i have a evinrude outboard with no ID Tags i have found a number on the round metal disk on the block A0082419 can anyone help me work out the year and size of the motor

I am unable to find A0082419 as a model number. It appears this may be a bolt for the thermostat cover. This site shows various models which use this part.

I believe that number is a serial number

A photo says a thousand words. Can you post a couple of pictures of it. Also check for another round metal disk that should have the model number.
