1995 130 HP Evinrude with less than year old waterpump. No recent grounding. Had it out in a 2 ft chop(deep water) when the overheat alarm came on. Engine was still running and peeing but the water coming out appeared foamy (usually clear)(water warm/hot). Ran it in reverse, turned it off for a minute, restarted, and after a minute alarmed went off. However it continued pee out foamy water (warm/hot). I eased back home (5 miles) without any problem. When I cranked it at home with the rabbit ears, it did fine (water came clear again out of the peehole). I ran it for over an hour the next day without a single problem. Any explaination? Any thing to worry about ?<br /> Thanks

Sounds like whatever water you were running in caused the foaming. I sure can't think of anything else that would cause "Foaming" discharge water, other than something being sucked into the intakes that caused it. Should be fine!
