Seen this motor for sale and am thinking about buying it for 100$
seller says it's an older model evinrude 10hp motor
but I was looking in the picture on the post and it looks like it says fastwin
isnt the fastwin an 18 hp motor and the sportwin is the 10hp
Also from the looks of it it might be a 69 year from what I found looking around online

I'm post a picture of it also m

What's the model number on the small plate of the port transom bracket?

cowl markings are as stated above from a 1969, however i do believe that that era cowlings are somewhat interchangeable. if it is a 69 fast twin and has good compression, and has been reasonably well taken care of well worth 100. look at the cylinder head to see if it's discolored, a sign of over heating. paint flaking off is ok. is it from fresh or salt water. great little engines and for the most part, bullit proof.

The picture if it is the actual motor for sale tells me.-------The bolt at the back for the lower unit clearly identifies it as the 18 HP model.----10 HP lower units are held on with 4 screws !
