Im new here and to make a long story short I am about to re-power my 18' Tripp Angler with an Evinrude E-Tec 115hp. I have some questions, how is this motor, does it run well? I am upgrading from a Johnson 4- stroke 70hp I think its a 2003 or so not sure.
Does anyone know what the Johnson weighs as compared to the 115 E-tec?
Also, a friend of mine has an older Evinrude 115hp with the Ficht Ram injection i think its a 2003 but again Im not sure. What are the differences between the E-Tec Design and the older Evinrude with the Ficht Ram injection.
