Evinrude Sportwin 3.3hp 4423 pull cord and gas leak

I need some advice on repairing a pull cord. The one on the outboard looks to be original. The outer cover of the cord had separated and pulled back off the cable. Anyone have a part number or replacement ideas? I'd like to stay as original as possible. Also when the motor is tilted it leaks a good amount of fuel. Anyone have a similar problem or suggestion of where to start. We just bought the motor and have had 3 or 4 great fishing evenings. Thanks for any help! Dave

hello<br /> the gas leak is most likly a carb issue. howerver some fuel will spill when tilted. the cord issue you can go to the dealer and buy the proper cord at the proper length and its a lot easier to replace the original before it breaks. good luck and also buy the manual.

my sportwin leaks from the fuel level window. it apears to be slightly melted and not sealing properly.
