Evinrude Starflyte III- Any Info?

Just wandering if anyone can give me any information on this engine.

I am new to boats and am going to be purchasing this boat.

I know it is not the original motor but I was wondering if anyone knows anything about it like year, hp, etc...

Also, what should I be looking for when I take it out on the water with the previous owner before I buy it? Thanks.

It is a 1961. http://www.old-omc.de/start.html I guess somebody must be proud of that red top on the cover. But yuck!

F__R that is an great link- totally amazed at what I have found out about my 61 Arkansas Traveler Skijack on this forum over just the past week- You guys are awesome! I found on ebay the actual 1961 sales brochure for the Evinrude engine lines and bought it. I found the actual 1961 brochure for the Arkansas Traveler boat lines and bought it. You guys on here made it happen- Thanks!!!
There is also the engine parts catalog on ebay as well- should I buy it? Where can I find the part # on the engine just to make sure I buy the right parts catalog- although there is only 1 1961 Unicharger so I guess I don't really need the part number.
Thanks again guys- it looks like I got a pretty good find on both the boat and the engine- I had no idea it was evinrudes top of the line model- totally blown away right now with this boat and with this forum!!!
