I have a 1960 35 hp Sea King on a 14' Bell Boy. I also have a old Evinrude for parts that came with the boat when I bought it. No idea what year or size this motor is. Serial #25028 52070. Would like to know if carbs are interchangeable.

Yeah, the 25028 is a 35hp 1957 Evinrude.

If it looks like the same basic motor or carb, it probably is. Evinrude made some of the Sea Kings (actually, the Gale division of OMC) You can tell by the model number on the SeaKing if it starts with GG

I also have a 1960 SeaKing made by Gale. I have read that these motors of the same year are the same, with the different labeling ? Are they more than interchangeable carburetors?
The only manual I can find is the same Evenrude that should work for a SeaKing.
Is this correct?
