I recently inherited an old evinrude outboard. It has a model number of 4423-45212. I know next to nothing of this motor or outboards, where do I put the gear oil? which plug wire goes to which plug? What fuel mixture shoud I set it to to try to start it? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!

Hey don1,<br />The 4423 indicates the engine is a 3.3hp. built between 1947-51. Best advise is ta get a manual for it. Click on the "Manuals" tab at the top of the page and see if they can help.
