Have a set of 3 year old risers, spacers, and manifolds, that are in very good condition. The 2 surfaces where these parts bolt together are less than perfect. There is plenty of meat left but some corrosion on the gasket surfaces. I am going to resurface them, and wondering what type of paint to put on this bare metal and which gasket would be best? Thanks

No paint at all. Leave it shiney and bare and use quality gaskets.

Yes, I second that....those metallic gaskets are awesome! They also seem to prevent/minimize corrosion on the iron gasket surfaces of elbows, risers, etc. They're nice and soft, too......they almost feel like they're lead.....but probably not.
