I have a 1965 Johnson 4cyl 65 hp outboard. It runs great but when I come back to the dock there is an excessive amount of a white oily substance that comes out of the motor. Once out of the water I can see it leaking out of a small hole on the left side of the motor near the cavitation plate. It smells like raw gas and feels oily. It has got worse since last year yet the motor runs fine. I use semi synthetic oil and all plugs stay clean. Is there a fuel pump vent that would allow this to happen?
