Curious - and evidently went to bed too early!!! Who gets along with their ex(someone you share a child with), just because it's easier and you have a damn happy kid?
Aw hell had to stir the stew anyways!

I remember my ex would only date lawyers after our breakup.

Every time she got a new boyfriend, I'd end up back in court. It's hell fighting someone that doesn't have to pay for their own lawyer.

All's well that ends well, however.

My youngest daughter came to live with me, and I still have my ex's first child support check, uncashed and framed and hanging on the wall. She's never mentioned it.

I guess the breakup of my marriage (27 years) was unusual. We never fought about anything, our 4 children were grown. She remarried and is now a widow.

She is still the Love Of My Life, and if she was willing to live at The Hideout or I was willing to live in town we would probably be together again.

Nope Happiest day of last year was when she moved to New Jersey, To anyone who lives in New Jersey, I had nothing to do with it she moved on her own accord! Its NOT MY FAULT!

I went to court 38 times over child support.

They wanted 25% of my gross pay.

I told the judge do you really think that I spend $178 a week on my kids.

I also told him I'm not supporting her new worthless husband and his kid.

When all was said and done. It was dropped to $20 a week .

If my Poptarts wanted anything extra I gave it to them.

I get along OK with my ex. We have to. We have a son together.

We do not pay child support to each other, I pay for the insurance.

We split time 50/50. For the most part. He is at our house during the week during school and her's on weekends.
She doesn't realize she gets more quality time with him by having those weekends than I do during the week. I can never do ANYTHING with him because there is only a few hours at night to do something during the week.

Well Me and my ex get along better now then we did while we where together!!!!At first it was rocky as I got a girlfriend and she did not like it at all but she was the one caught cheating when we got the divorce he was 2 then at 6 I got full custody of him he is 15 now!!!!! and everyone is happy
