Exhaust bellow came off

After running my boat yeasterday and completing the spring recommision, I noticed the exhaust bellow had come off the end closest to the transom. The boat is a 2002 Mercruiser 4.3MPI with Alpha One outdrive. I hope running the boat did not hurt anything with the bellow off, i just ran it in the tank.

Is there a way or trick to putting the exaust bellow back on without taking off the outdrive? There is a hole on the side of the outdrive to insert a screw driver to tighten up the clamp. Any ideas on how to slip the bellow back on? I have looked at it and it is in good condition.

you wont hurt anything with the exhaust bellow off. its primaraly to quiet the exhaust

Nope,... The end that's off, needs to go on 1st, then it's pulled out onto the gimbel housing...
