Ok, I lost the speedometer after a bellows change. Upon inspection I found that the new screw style clamp cut the speedo hose when the drive was lowered. So I attempted to loosen the screw clamp to turn it and the bellows popped off of the outer/bell housing end.
so now im going to reinstall the bellows and I'm not rreally wanting to reuse the screw clamp though I may be able to reposition it so it doesn't damage anything else. But I've been wondering about alternatives. I have some large, ac vent size, zip ties that I can get to clamp very tightly.
Has anyone ever tried that? Or any other alternatives that won't cause problems?
