I have a Mercruiser 3.0l alpha 1 gen 2. I want to replace the exhaust bellows with a boot but can't find the right part number. Can someone help me please?

The "boot" Is louder...just put them on my twin 470's and wish I didn't cause of the extra exhaust sound.

I heard that it is louder but I replaced the bellows 2 years ago and it was really hard to put on. I hear that the boot is easier and right now I would exchange louder for easier. The exhaust bellows is the only bellow that ripped, and I was hoping the boot would hold up better also.

Not much louder than an exhaust bellows that has come off. I have one on a 5.0 Alpha. No more problems with the bellows coming off.

Hi Mark, I am thinking that looks like a u-joint bellows instead of an exhaust bellows. Can you please check again for me?

OK with your help, I think I have the right one. It's Sierra 18-2760. If someone tells me I have it right and I will order it

There is no practical difference between a ripped exhaust bellows and the tube or boot.

Tube is unconnected at one end and let's water in just like a ripped bellows ... Both probably equally loud but one is already aid for

Ok I put the boot type exhaust bellow on but can't seem to connect the other end. Is this right?
