exhaust elbow cracked and leaking water

Is this normal to have water coming out of the exhaust and if so how do i fix the crack without replacing the elbow cause it is pretty pricey! It is on a mercruiser alpha 1 3.0 4 cyl.

not sure what your asking, water normally does go out the riser mixing with the exaust to cool it .

If it's on the outside you can try grinding a v in to it and patching with JB Weld.

Water does come out the exhaust. So where exactly is the crack you are talking about? send pictures.
