Exhaust Gasket Leak

Hello, so I had a guy look at my older engine and he gave list of things, mostly minor, that need to be repaired, carbs, a new CD box, but he also said there was an exhaust gasket leak. I am having trouble finding this in my engine manual and online. Could anyone point me in the right direction. Im trying to save some money and do it myself if possible. Engine specs are below.

1990 Force Outboard, 120HP. Unknown serial number, power head was replaced around 18 years ago.

Exhaust cover gaskets, there are 2, part number

27-8190242

GASKET-EXHAUST PLATE

Number 25 in this diagram.

Be real careful removing those screws.

There is also a gasket at the bottom of the exhaust tube.
It requires removal of the complete motor as the seal is in the bottom of the driveshaft housing.
I'd contact the service guy and find out where the leak is??

Thanks guys, I spent a good portion of the day reading up on it and I think Im gonna just have my guy look at it, probably hover over his shoulder while he does it also.

The exhaust cove can be a real B(*&% to take off.
The lower bolts usually twist of and need lots of time to remove the pieces left.
Start spraying with PB Blaster or any penetrating oil you use.
Did the guy say where it's leaking???

Check if powerhead counts with a lower pan gasket. If so and already dried, burned out, smoke will leak from there too.
