Exhaust idle port on has water flowing through port side

Hi all,
My Mercruiser 3.0 with Alpha One, with cuffs on, has water flowing only through the idle port on the starboard side and from the base of the prop. One spitting water vapor comes from the port idle port, and the same through the prop. Could anyone tell me if this is normal, and even better, where I should see water flow from the outdrive properly? I suspect there are at least four places cooling water should vent during operation.
Thanks,
Chris

You don't really get a lot of water on the muffs so the flow is unpredictable. If your not running hot on the gauge you are probably fine.

You only have exhaust on one side, gravity and the fact that water follows the path of least resistance says that water out of only one side is normal.
