I have a 1989 4.3 l MCM V6 175 hp alpha one. I am planning to replace the 2 bbl Mercarb with a Edelbrock 1409 carb. Of course, I will have to replace the intake manifold and am going to use the Edelbrock Performer. Will I get any performance gains from an aftermarket exhaust manifold? they claim lower resistance, increased horsepower, etc

Sounds like you are quoting a GLM claims. If they don't have internal problems and leak water into your engine, or have wavy gasket surfaces and kill your engine that way, they probably won't have enough performance difference from OEM that you will ever notice. Maybe on some dyno that can measure .01 HP.

Would that be the GLM Dyno part number #11843XAGGERATE?

Go ahead tell him oh, who said youth is wasted on the young?

If you wanted a hot rod do you buy a olds?

With that setup you still would be 45-50 mph. Not fast enough? How big a boat?

20'-21'.
