I just purchased an OEM part no. 45586 that worked.

Dealer didn't mention that it was NLA.

Thanks Marc c. Have you installed the part in yours yet? Did you have to remove the tube?

I didn't remove the tube.

I used a dremel to grind off the rivets on one of the 2 clips that hold the flapper in. That allowed me to remove the old flapper.

I used the clip that was left there with one of the new clips.
It makes sense once you remove the flapper.

I then used stainless 10-32 machine screws to attach the new one.

Thanks for the info Marc. I found the part at Canadian Marine parts.com at a better price than out of the US. I will have at her when they arrive.

I really like it, it only sips the fuel and will do anything I want. Pull a tube cruise around and fishing. I am still trying to find the right prop though and closing in on it.
