Exhaust shutter question

I am collecting parts for my center rise conversion. Does anyone know if its possible to adapt the exhaust shutters frm the bottom of the y pipe to the top for easier service?

Nope,.... I doubt it can be done on the same y-pipe, 'n I don't think a newer y-pipe will fit,....

But,... with abit of "Creative Engineerin' ",... Nearly anythin' is possible,....

Findin' shutters that are close to the right size will be the bugger,...

I thought a band saw and tig might be the solution
