im having hard time installing this pair of shutters on the exhaust Y pipe 87 mercruiser 5.7 alpha one., just the pin wont reach down the original orifice , should i drill it up a little bit to make it fit ? would it hurt anything? i just have to go up about an 1/8 of an inch, i know this are the right ones. any suggestions?View attachment 199660View attachment 199661
