exhaust stud removal

Going to change my exhaust manifolds to Sierra, which require only 4 bolts instead of 8. In doing so I have to remove a couple of studs in the head. Any advice on removing these is appreciated. Thanks.

soak em down in your favorite penetrating oil, then double(triple) up the nuts and twist em out...

Ayuh,.... Exactly,.... Run 2 nuts on, tighten 'em against each other, then turn out the stud, using the Inner nut....
