exhaust water shutters

I have to replace the water shutters in ,my exhaust but cant seem to find the correct part number. The one on the shutter itself is 807166-2. Anyone know the correct number to order. Thanks in advance

It would help us if you supplied the engine manufacturer, model of the engine (ie, horsepower or capacity) and the year of build.. With out those, you haven't got a cats chance in he11 of getting the right numbers.

That's the right part number. I think you're having troubles searching due to the -2 after the primary number. Try using only the primary number, 807166, but select the one with the 2 or -2 suffix.

Just be aware that the number cast onto a part may not be it's part number for replacement purposes. It's usually a number generated by the manufacturer for internal use only. See my previous post and give us the required info and we'll get you the right number used as the spare parts number to obtain the right part.

Chris is right, that part number is a sierra part, which replaces the Mecruiser part 807166A 2. This is the Exhaust Shutter for a 4.3 L engine with the alpha drive.

Wow I forgot everything didnt I. Mercruiser 5.0 1988. Thanks for the responses guys
