Existing Transducer; What's the Frequency

Long Story, but here goes... I bought an 87 Rampage 28 Sportfish about 3 years ago. It had a newer sounder [#1] (don't know the make/model) that was swapped out for an old Sitex sounder [#2] by the seller. The marina put a new transducer to match the old Sitex [#2]. The transducer for the newer sounder [#1] was left in place. The Sitex has since seen it's last day this past season. Mid last season I bought a new Furuno [#3] dual freq sounder that requires a 50/200 Khz transducer. As I was preparing to put a new transducer in to match the new Furuno [#3] sounder, I noticed the the existing transducer from [#1] above looked exactly the same, including the same high speed faring, etc. Is there a way for me to determine what frequency the [#1] transducer is before I tear it out?

Thanks

Re: Existing Transducer; What's the Frequency

If you could give us the model number of the sounders or the part number off the transducer it's pretty easy to cross reference.

All three units use 200/50 KHz transducers so the frequency isn't the problem. The problem may be the output power of the new unit.

The new Furuno depending on the model number have much more power, up to 1KW on some models. The unit is auto ranging and will adjust for a small capacity transducer but why install a 1Kw machine and then not take advantage of it.

If you had an oscilloscope you could measure it. I have an old eagle and mine puts out 200KHz however the signal is so small it would have to be a pretty good oscilloscope.
