exuast on penta 270

exuast coming out the back of boat where the drive enters the stern... problem? this is just one of the many trivial problems i'm dealing with..it's my second year with the boat and last year it was all motor stuff.. this year its the tilt doesnt work, spun hub and now this exuast.. part of me wants to give up, i just love fishing!!!!

Can you give a bit more info. Are exhaust gases getting inside the boat?<br /><br />Aldo

no exhuast in the boat. everything seems fine.

Its probably just a torn exhaust boot. Very easy to replace, just make sure the weep hole is facing down so that water drains out when the outdrive is raised.<br /><br />Aldo

Hey J.R Let me know what you discover when your checking your problem out.My boat seemed to have exaust coming out from the back too.By the way hows the Bay been lately?I grew up in that area.

longspan bridge out of bayshore is usually choppy until you make that turn at "crazy charlie" then your in heaven to the inlet. alot of 10 lb fluke on the outside in 40-80ft. went stripping last week, 2 sand sharks.... as usuall blues everywhere and there bringing home 200lb mako's 8 miles out.. where you fishing now in pa..???
