taking the Wife in today for eye surgery , Doc says she has two cataracs(spelling) and they are doing one eye today at 9:00 am this morning , <br /> Well better get my butt and gear , its a 15 mile drive to town . <br /> I'll let you guys know later today how it turns out .....Doug

Thanks guys! I just got back home and I have to go back in around 1:00 pm (my time) to pick her up . <br />Hee hee ! The old girl surprized me , I thought she was fretten about this , But she saw her Doctor this morning when we got to the hospital and out of the blue ,She asked him " Can I play the Violin after I have this surgery?" And Doc replied "Yes! Of course" <br />And without missing a beat , She said to him " Oh! Really ! thats funny , Cause I never could before"<br />Man That just about floored me and for once I was speechless.<br />Anyways , As soon as I get Popeye back home I'll let you guys know how it turned out . ....Thanks ....Doug

Well ! Got her back home now , and like Boomyall said "It was a piece of cake , <br /> Shes a little woozie/tired But all in all in good spirts Has to wear the patch for the rast of the day/night and keep up with the eyedrops for a while Than in a few weeks we gotta go do the other eye .Rose said to thank you all for your concern and well wishes . And that go's double for me .<br />Its nice to know people who have never even met in person care . ... Thanks again ...... Doug

Shoot scrapper, like I have said before on here, we might not aggree on a lot of stuff, but we are one big family and when one of us hurts, we all do.<br />Glad things went well and here's hoping for the same on the other eye.
