I have an escort trailer that as near as i can tell from web searches has an 'EZ Loader' style equalizer bar. In the equalizer bar center where it bolts to the trailer frame there is a rubber bushign with steel sleeve for the actual bolt. Anyone with experience with this setup, how long does this bushing hold up? And do you think it really helps cushion anything? My bushings are shot as in completely gone, Im trying to decide if its worth replacing the rubber bushing or makeing a steel bushing to take up the slack and forget about it.
