F 90 Blowing fuses - help please

Ben C and Willie helped me last week finding the fuses. My engine keeps blowing the 20 A light green fuse. I have disconnected all of the accessories and it still shorts out. It is intermittent. <br /><br />I blew 3 fuses today but its working fine right now. I cleaned the terminals and the connectors.<br /><br />I don't know where to begin looking. What does the 20 Amp go to or come from.<br /><br />There is also a 30 amp, that one is fine.<br /><br />Thanks<br /><br /><br />Kid

I dont have the f90 manual here at the house but it sounds like the main relay fuse is blowing, it means that occasionally something on the keyswitch red or yellow wirers are chafed and touching something ground.<br /> I will look closer during the week at some harness diagrams.

Thanks Rod,<br /><br />How would I ever fix such a thing if the wires chaffed under the hull below the deck, cetain parts under the floor I'm unable to get to ? Run new wires ?<br /><br />I aapreciate the help.<br /><br />Don

sorry, I forgot it. but ill try tomorrow. its been crazy as two of the techs are out with the pukies. so I have been playing some parts man,service man and tech so far this week.<br /> someplace on the electrical panel there will be a fuse identifierie: what its for. if its there it may help me.

No problem and no rush Rod. But please don't forget me. If I can identify the wires that could be causing the short or the reason blowing the 20 A engine fuses, I can re wire and hopefull fix the problem.<br /><br />Hope you don't get the pukes.....I'd rather have anything than that. <br />Kid
