F115 stalls at low rpm

Hi, I have been having an intermediate problem on my 2017 F115 where it will stall at idle or in gear in a no wake speed. Doesn't happen all the time and usually only happens when the boat has been off for a while . I have fresh gas, replaced fuel filter, and water separater.

When it does happen I can pump the primer bulb to keep it from stalling

my guess is the fuel cooler is plugged or restricted causing the fuel in it to vaporize.
maybe you need to let the motor idle for a little while befor shutting it off after a high speed run to let the motor cool down some

So I am thinking it might be a feel pump issue. Now it won't start, even when pumping the primer bulb. Fuel is actually leaking from the fuel filter in the engine from pumping it soo much. Somehow the engine isn't getting fuel from the filter forward.

Is there a way to test the low pressure fuel pump?

if the filter is leaking fuel when pumping the bulb that means it's sucking in air when under a vacuum.
fix that and see if that takes care of your problem

That might be it, unscrewed the fuel canister and sure enough the o-ring was missing. Just ordered one, but could something like o-ring missing cause this?

yes it could.
anything that leaks fuel out can cause air to get in

A missing o ring on a filter will cause problems, not could cause problems without a doubt it will cause problems.
