F25 carb starter plunger missing parts

I'm hoping someone can help. There is a small ball bearing that is held by a circlip in the carb bowl. I believe it acts as a checkvalve for the starter plunger. The previous owner disassembled the carb and screwed everything up. He lost the ball bearing and left the circlip just laying in there. I'm having issues getting part numbers for the ball and clip. All the local shops are telling me the only option is to buy a new bowl assembly. Does anyone have the part numbers or possibly know the diameter of the ball bearing?

The ball and retainer are part of the float bowl assembly. Parts are not available separately. You have to buy the bowl.
