I bought a yamaha f60 a few months back, and did its break in. I don't know what the rpms were reading, but I was going 36 mph. I just had the 10 hour check up at a yamaha dealer. He said my idle rpms were high by about 500 he adjusted them to about 850 rpm at idle which sounds correct. The problem is now I only go 30 to 31 mph and my rpms are maxing out at 5000 even.
