fabric showing on the hull!

I just got an inflatable and after I got it home I noticed that there is some rubber that pealed off the hull and the fabric is showing through. I went to west marine and got a can of the liquid rubber to paint on the hull. Will this fix my issue or should I be worried about anything else as a result of my new discovery?

It may SLOWLY leak a little bit. However, it should be at least somewhat sea worthy still. I have one with some wear like that, it runs just fine, I just have to give it maybe two pumps every few hours. The liquid rubber however should fix that problem! How is that item anyways? I am considering buying that for my inflatable in the next few days.

I have not used it yet. It is still 2 cold for it to cure.
