I have been unable to find a factory manual specifically for my E90TLCOS, which is an 1985 90 hp evinrude. I found manuals that cover 48 hp to 230 hp, 15 to 200 hp, but not one for mine. Any recommendations? I've already been at OldOutboards.com and it's not available there either.

yep, tried both sites and at outboardbooks.com the code does not appear on the request for information so it's a total waste of time to try to contact Ken, his request for information page is incomplete. At boatinfo, there is nothing there as recent as 1985 unless I'm not seeing something that is right in front of me.

What is wrong with a Seloc or other manual?

Why not give Ken Cook a call in Milwaukee. They are the original publisher of all OMC literature. 414-466-6060. If anybody would know-they would. Factory manuals are complete and only cover just one model (the V4's-from that year only.) Sealoc or Clymer combine too many models/hp ranges, thus can't be specific about any of them.

thanks, I called and I will have it in my grimy hands in 5 business days. Definitely worth the money and it will cause me to stop asking stewpid questions.

Thanks again.

simplydave, don't stop asking questions! That IS what these forums are for. When you ask a question, others learn as well... However, glad you found your shop manual. That IS the best thing anybody can buy for their engine. :thumb:

Now instead of asking questions you can start answering them!!!! Right from the manual. Feels good to be able to do that.
