Say you had the opportunity to invite any two people, living or dead, to spend a day fishing with you. Who would they be? Perhaps two heroes whom you look up to, perhaps two enemies that could get a chance to work things out. Maybe Hitler and Roosevelt. Maybe Britney Spears and Paris Hilton. Or both President Bushes. I'd like to hear your choices, the reason, and your hope of the outcome.

Mine would be Jimmy Carter and Desmond Tutu. If you were to look up the word "Humanitarian" in the dictionary, their pictures would be side by side in my book. I'd like to hear where they've been. Where they see that we're at, and where they would like to see us go. But that's just me. I expect that the choices would be as individual as the person responding. The possibilities are endless. Give it some thought and let's hear what you think.

Jimmy Carter and Desmond Tutu.

Forget it, neither guy could "thread a worm" and they would spend the whole day defending the "fishes right to life".

Chesty Puller and George Patton.

I would hate to go out on a boat and dicuss politics all day. I would choose Brettt Favre (big shocker huh), and my favorite football player of all time Ray Nitschke. Although they played in comletely different eras, I think they play in much the same way. I would love to sit back and just listen to them talk about anything.

"Uncle" Jim Willis. He was born a slave and was the wisest man I ever knew. He plowed 10 acres of tobacco the day before he died.. .at age 110.

John P. Falatic. Most entertaining fishing partner I ever had.

1. My Grandfather, who taught me to fish the lake and enjoy the outdoors as a kid. I would love to show him what an angler I've become because of him and teach him saltwater. I miss his Irish wisdom about life and our long talks.

2. The Pope. I have some questions for him.

Tupac and Biggie Smalls

LMAO.....

If you are gonna fish with Biggie, you are gonna need a bigger Javelin and more than 40hp to boot. Most certainly wouldn't fit in the "combine".

My Grandpa (like LF, Grandpa taught me to fish and hunt and even though he passed away 32 years ago, I still miss him), and Jesus. I probably wouldn't get much fishing done, but I sure would learn a lot!

Like a couple others I would choose Jesus Christ. That way we would have plenty of wine, loaves and fish!
