Fd-11 still won’t start.

Ok guys, I’ve went through this motor over and over. Great spark, great compression, getting fuel to carb. Just won’t start. Took motor to friend of mine who works on a lot of bigger motors. He’s thinking it could be an air leak in carb or missing a lead shot? Anyone have pics of an 18 hp Johnson carb? What carbs are compatible with this model? In case I have to buy another one. Thx

I'm not sure what all you have posted on this... Timing? Have you checked the reeds? If you crank it with the plugs out, if it's getting fuel you should see a mist coming out of the holes.

What open air gap will the spark jump ??

Yes timing is great, reeds are good too. And Boobie spark jumped 5/16 or more. Nice blue spark..
