Re: Feelin' old?

Thats the future right there gents. As soon as they figure out a way around that whole 9g thing in fighter jets, you'll see females in them too. It is proven that a females central nervous system processes information faster, women do better at these sort of tasks. The only thing keeping them out of fighter jets is their heart is too small for the forces involved. New flight suits will fix that in the near future. They are already flying choppers, A-10 warthogs, and of course support aircraft. Smaller pilots equals smaller lighter faster more efficient aircraft. I hope to one day see my daughter doing something like this, not just being a brood sow pushing out welps for some ego driven neandertal. Its not just a mans world anymore....

Kids nowadays grew up on Joysticks and video games, and probably fly better than the earlier generation jocks. Still waiting for (and will buy stock in) the first maker of fly by wire joysticks for cars. We will see them in the coming years. Steering wheels to kids are like tillers on the first cars would be to us.

trust me, the navy and air force know how to train pilots. 99.9% of the pilots are commissioned officers who graduated college. they then take approx 2 years of training to get their wings. then the fun really begins with qualification flights, etc. bext pilots in the world come from our armed forces.

btw, women do fly fighter jets (f-18, f-15, etc). they handle the G's just fine.
