I moved to Texas last November, and have been dying to do some serious fishing since. I've had a ski boat all along but nothing wiht a trolling motor. And yes I still went fishing but its not the same when you have to pull up the ol anchor and fire up the big motor to move to a new spot, instead of trolling around the entire shoreline of a cove and throwing a plastic worm 
<br />Yesterday I went out and bought a REALLY old fishing boat witha trolling motor. 1981 Skeeter Champ with a 70 hp Johnson. I would have liked to have gotten somethig nicer but this is good enough to get me throught this year with out spending a fortune. Hopefully my inspection was thourough enough that I wont be spending more time with the motor cover off than wetting a line. I just cant wait! Me and my son are going out this afternoon after work.
