My best advice is this. Make sure that all your surfaces are prepped really well. Grind down to fresh clean glass. Wipe all of em down with acetone and get rid of all contaminates. If the new glass has a clean surface to adhere too, your repair should go well. The materials listed should be all you will need. As YD says you don't HAVE to remove the Top cap but working upside down for a Newb will be a challenge but... It can be done, and we will be here to help you with the process.
