1972 was the last year for electric shift.

This time of year, there's probably lots of people looking for motors. If the Evinrude runs, I'd clean it up, take lots of pictures of it and a video of it running and list it on CL for $800. It's worth more in cash than it is to you in parts since little other than powerhead parts are going to swap to your Johnson.

When I swap motors, I use the lifting eye on the top of the motors and a cheap-o come along from Harbor Freight to pull them off and hang them.

I see some outboards requred a special bolt ring lifting eye to be screwed into the top...

On therse 1970's evenrude/johnsons it appears the lifting eye is bulit in on top like just a steel bracket there bolted to top of engine....does that sound correct? or do I need to bye a lifting eye....didn't see anywhere to screw it in

Here is the new [90's] Tri Hull... Any idea what make or model this is or how to expect it to handle...Haven't been out on it yet.

Also adjusted my craigs add--hope it sells
