Hey guys, I sucessfully replaced my deck, dashboard and some miscellaneous mistakes the po made in the splashwell as well as refiberglassed the crack I had in the keel of the Harvey. Here are some pictures of the keel, I know they are hard to see but there are ZERO air bubbles around this patch and I layed down two layers of new csm in the keel crevice and above the hull underneath the deck, but I am wondering if this would be ok to take out to the lake and cruise around without sanding down the rest of this exterior repair. It does not buldge to much from the rest of the hull but I just do not want a crack to form and water seep under my brand new deck. Please let me know what you think.

Thanks guys

Also to add on the exterior I did a layer of csm, some cloth and then csm as the last layer. The keel is not very thick so I did not want to put to many layers on.

I wish I could see it better. I agree with more layers though.

If it does not have oars .. then CSM typically is not enough for a "crack".

Agree with better pics and more info :) .

Re: fiberglass job critique

The most recent pics didn't work... Without a better look at it, its going to be hard to judge the quality of the repair and whether or not it will hold. Just food for thought. I have (6) Six layers of CSM along with some peanut butter, and that was just re-coring and repairing some damage on my swim platform. But each repair requires different levels of material and effort, so try again at getting the better pics up and we'll tell you what we can.
