filling holes in the cavitation plate

hi,i've removed the hydrofoil sst from the cavitation plate and assume that now i should fill the holes.what do you recommend i fill with....thanks.

Most people don't bother filling the holes, but if you want to, I'd use car body filler or fibreglass. If you know an ali welder, get them welded..

Went thru the same thing a few years ago.

Put some duct tape on the underside of the plate and filled the holes with marine tex epoxy after cleaning the holes. Leveled off the top and let it cure. Removed the duct tape and ended up with a nice smooth plug top and bottom. That was 5 years ago and they are still in place.
