Hi,

I have a bass america aluminum boat, I've ordered a set of smart tabs for it which are due tomorrow, I'm going to have to relocate the transducer, and either re-locate or do away with the pitot speedometer thing. I was wondering what would be the best way to fill these holes? I've never done it before, so I would like some feedback from someone that has done this on an aluminum boat before with no problems. If any of you are out there and reading this please let me know, thanks

Welcome to iBoats!
I highly recommend Gluvit and most of the Tin Boat guys on here use it. You will need to paint it due to the fact that it is NOT UV resistant. It is a two part epoxy product specially formulated for aluminum. You can buy it right here on iBoats.

As a second choice you could use JB Weld.

The easiest way would be oversized stainless steel screws and 5200.
