Final Cut !!! 2004

Well, I did the Final Cut 2004 yesterday on my lawn... winterized the lawn tractor and dragged the plow down from it's storage place.<br /><br />It's a great feeling that I won't be cutting grass again until May-June 2005!<br /><br />Bob

IMHO, what's coming, is a stiff price to pay for a little lawn cutting relief. :(

I did the last scalping Sunday. Now I get to look forward to a month of raking leaves :rolleyes:

uh, why do you scalp your lawn in the fall? i only scalp mine in the spring

it all depends for me.. weather-wise.. i cut mine xmas week last year.. <br /><br />as for leaves,, that's what atumum winds & no fences are for..

I live on the side of a hill that is covered with oak, maple and beech. On the last cut of the year I like to cut it really short so the wind can blow the leaves off the lawn easily. My lawn is fairly large, and raking is worse than mowing...and I am to cheap to buy a leaf blower or a bagger :)
