The claim is closed as of yesterday, a month and a few days short from the accident anniversary. His insurance paid about 10 times what my lowest offer was to begin with. I did not had to secure a lawyer as I had my friend coach me about what to do at every turn. I still have the boat but maybe not for long as I want to get a sleeper and get a fishing boat again. Nothing fancy I assure you all.
Thanks for all of the help and support. Glad is over.

I've been wondering how you made out. I was going to ask when you replied to an unrelated post recently, but I figured you had enough questions about it since the mishap. Glad things worked out, although the "good ship Nandy" was dry docked for the season. Hoping this upcoming season goes well.

I recommend a Sunbird with an outboard mounted to the I/O drive leg :p

I hope you save the pictures from that. One of my favorite threads!
