Finally Decided to Use a Broker...

To sell my 24' Chris*Craft. Been back and forth for months over whether to do it myself or not. In the end I decided that I'd rather spend next Summer enjoying/learning/fixing up the Four Winns, than dealing with trying to sell it myself.

Yesterday I contacted the broker I bought the C*C from a couple years ago, and I'll take a ride over to his boatyard on Saturday. We'll figure out a reasonable asking price for it. Then he takes over, markets the heck out of it, does all the legwork on inspections, sea trials and such... and takes 10% of the gross.

Actually, I'm relieved that I'll be out of the loop :)

JoLin,

That's a good peice of mind having a broker do it. No headaches so to speak. Enjoy your Four Winns. I decided to keep my boat due to the economics for now.
