finally getting powerhead back from machine shop

force 150 1989<br /><br />other then the head gasket, are there any other gaskets that should not receive the gasket sealing compound, exhaust ports, carbs, reed valve assembily,fuel recirculation....ect

Just keep in mind what will happen if sealant became dislodged from where it has been applied, and where it will end-up. If the book calls for it, use it. Otherwise, I'd stay-clear of it whereever possable. You would think it's insurance, but that is not alllways the case.<br />However, provided it has been formulated for the application you plan to use it in, it can replace any place the book calls for permatex or other sealant. Just try to use it sparingly, as whatever is not actually underneath the mating surfaces is a loose cannon.<br />And may it go smoothly and forever for you.
