so my search for another boat has ended! i landed on a 96 rinker captiva 212 br with a 5.7l. the boat overall is solid, just needs a little bit of sweat equity (clean the interior, buff the exterior, and tighten up a few screws here and there). we took her out today and she ran 56/57 with a 19 pitch prop. wot looked a couple hundred high so i may try a 21 just for giggles...i was really impressed with its ability to corner hard without skidding out or cavitating the prop!
as i started going through some of the storage areas i found all of the curtians for the bimini top! and they look like their brand new! bonus!!
she is going to take some hours here and there getting her clean but i think it wont be anything intensive.
