Finally got up on the water.

First time out since I was about 12 or 13 years old. Took a few tries, but I think part of that was training my wife how to drive the boat for a deep-water launch.

yee-haw!

This is about as far up as the wife got.

She stood about 1-2 seconds before falling. A little more practice and she'll be skiing.
After a dozen or more tries though, she opted for the tube.

...seconds before her epic wipeout around 30mph.

Congrats. I remember getting up for the first time this year. Now it's a piece of cake.

I can still feel it in my legs, and my shoulder is still sore. Wow. On Monday I felt like an old man.

The first time broke out the skis after about a 15 year layoff I thought I got hit by a truck the next day.
