finally ordered ....

so after much going back and forth , i will be a owner of a 2011 monterey 204 fs with pretty much all options and color of my choice with 4,3 mpi, it will take about 8 weeks, being a first time owner i am a little nervous , but i do know about boating, but ever owned one. any feed back, tips would be help full. i have a free slip for 2011 and storage, so we will see.

Take an online boating course at the minimum . Be safe Dude.

Congrats on the new boat. Take it easy the first few times out and be safe. Definitely look into a boating course. I'd been boating for 20 years before I took my first course - still learned a ton.

Depends on where you live. In texas, they only recognize a Texas course. Here's the link to our course here.....maybe you can navigate through it and find one for your state.

I too have been boating for 30+ years and am in the procress of taking a boaters safety course for the first time.

Get certified at BoatUS online. Great course and it's FREE!!!! At least it was a year ago! Congrats on the boat, i love those boats. Waiting for the boat is easy at first but it gets painful, trust me!
